Improved access and extended hours
We are proud of having the best access to clinicians and services locally despite being a small practice, but we strive to keep improving our access by listening to our patients and reviewing their feedback.
We have started a complete telephone triage system at the surgery that begins with the reception team to make sure we get or patients directed to the right service or clinician in times of limited NHS resources.
It is also possible to see a doctor at another local GP Practice outside of normal surgery hours through an improved acccess, extended hours scheme run jointly with other local GP Practices. Please call the surgery to book an extended hours appointment.
When we are closed
If you need health advice when the surgery is closed, please call NHS 111 who provide out of hours cover. 111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It's fast, easy and free.
Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
You can also attend the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. UTCs treat many urgent minor injuries and illnesses, includingstrains and sprains, cuts and grazes, bites and stings, scalds and burns, and minor head injuries.
in the event of serious or life threatening injury or illness call 999.
